Refund Policy

for Franklin County Outdoor Maintenance

Effective Date: May 11, 2026

At Franklin County Outdoor Maintenance, we take pride in providing high-quality landscaping and outdoor maintenance services. Because our work involves labor, materials, equipment usage, and scheduling commitments, the following Refund Policy applies to all services provided.

1. Estimates & Deposits

Some projects may require a deposit before work begins. Deposits help secure scheduling, labor, materials, and equipment.

Unless otherwise stated in writing:

  • Deposits are generally non-refundable once materials have been ordered or scheduling has been reserved.

  • If a project is canceled before materials are purchased or work begins, partial refunds may be considered at our discretion.

2. Completed Services

Due to the nature of landscaping and outdoor services, refunds are generally not provided for completed work.

However, customer satisfaction is important to us. If you are dissatisfied with completed work, please contact us promptly so we can review the issue and attempt to reach a reasonable resolution.

3. Weather Delays & Rescheduling

Outdoor work may be delayed or rescheduled due to:

  • Rain

  • Severe weather

  • Unsafe ground conditions

  • Material delivery delays

  • Other unforeseen circumstances

These delays do not qualify for refunds.

We will make reasonable efforts to communicate schedule changes as quickly as possible.

4. Material Variations

Natural materials such as:

  • Mulch

  • Gravel

  • Rock

  • Soil

  • Plants

  • Wood products

may vary slightly in color, texture, size, or appearance. These natural variations are not considered defects and do not qualify for refunds.

5. Customer-Requested Changes

If a customer requests changes to the scope of work after the project has started, additional charges may apply.

Refunds will not be provided for labor, materials, or completed work already performed prior to requested changes.

6. Cancellations

Customers should provide as much notice as possible for cancellations.

If cancellation occurs after:

  • Materials have been purchased

  • Equipment has been reserved

  • Labor has been scheduled

  • Disposal fees have been incurred

applicable costs may be deducted from any eligible refund amount.

7. No Warranty on Certain Conditions

We do not guarantee outcomes affected by conditions outside our control, including but not limited to:

  • Weather

  • Soil quality

  • Drainage conditions

  • Existing lawn health

  • Underground issues

  • Future plant survival

  • Seed germination rates

Because these factors vary, refunds will not be issued for circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

8. Refund Review Process

Any refund requests must be submitted within a reasonable timeframe after service completion.

We reserve the right to:

  • Inspect the completed work

  • Offer corrective action instead of a refund

  • Determine refund eligibility on a case-by-case basis
